OLW | grow...

since 2011, i began documenting my one little word (i love the idea behind it...) into a layout and i continue to keep up the tradition. there were so many words that came to mind. but the one word that hung around in my thoughts those last few months last year the most was GROW. in 2014, my goal is to grow educationally, financially, physically, creatively, spiritually - continue growing as a parent, wife and friend.

i created this layout using minimal products with Gossamer Blue January kits and i'm sharing a few super simple techniques on how it all came together. so stop by the GB blog...

good evening & happy New Year :)

we ended 2013 dancing in the family room all night long while watching Brian Seacrest & Jenni McCarthy on tv last night... (the boys played xbox games, so boring...hahaha!) and began 2014 sleeping in watching the last hour of the movie UP on Disney in bed together. very relaxing! a day where there was no rush to be anywhere. a good way for us to start off the new year i say...

today, Gossamer Blue's January kits and gallery projects when live! i know i may sound like a broken record each month, but again, it was a fabulous month where all the kits were loaded with an abundance of scrappy goodness. i was a little happy w/ circles this month, w/ both layouts. i wish i had more time to create a few more pages w/ the January kits, just too much going on last month. but am super pleased w/ how my two projects turned out and look forward to getting started with February kits :D

this layout, Keep On Smiling, uses everything from the main kit, including both digital cutting and printable files. the designs are exceptional, loved them and i LOVED the exclusive GB papers created by One Little Bird Designs.

 

i've had this large photo printed out onto white cardstock for several months now and finally was inspired by the main add-on, add-ons and bits & pieces kits. (photo credit Keisha Campbell). adore the circle die-cut papers so much, i had to use them and embellish w/ lots of pretties...

GB | January sneak peek....

hello there, happy New Years eve... :)

sharing a quick post today with sneak peeks of my upcoming January Gossamer Blue projects... another month filled with bunches and bunches of must have goodies and even more Gossamer Blue exclusives, YAY!!

i hope you had a wonderful Christmas... i woke up motivated, and hit up the gym, doing laundry, clean out the fridge and the family helped me de-Christmased the house. i'm glad that is done. it's nice having our space back. more room for the kids to play and for Nala to run w/ her toys. looking forward to relaxing the rest of the day...

oh and here's a photo of Nala, i rarely snap photos of her. if she's still, she's sleeping or always running around. she was very happy to play w/ her new Christmas gifts, a big doggie bone and a bunny rabbit, ha!
