Gossamer Blue | she's so lovely...

hello again... i'm always amazed and pleasantly surprised when my GB page arrives. it's like Christmas or even birthday every monthly and i get so giddy when i go through everything and find an abundance of joy tucked into each bag... it's pure joy!

Junes main kit and digital cut files are fabulous and couples perfect with this months color palette. i opted to use the woodgrain pattern paper to showcase the images of my girl, smiling so pretty in the mirror-during one of our many shopping trips to Ikea.

the images were not so great. way too much yellow and a weird green color in the background of the images. so i toned down the color without losing character. looks so much better. plus, i'm a sucker for pops of color on a page... loved the teals, yellows and orange with the woodgrain background.

thanks for stopping by and i truly hope you've had a chance to pick up one of Junes amazing kits, if not more... you'll be creating for days, there's so much goodness :)

... xo

  1. This layout is great. I have several sheets of woodgrain paper and watch scrapbooking blogs all the time for ideas on how to use them. This is the first one I've seen that uses it as the ONLY background choice. Your color choices are quite effective and the woodgrain doesn't overwhelm. I love the mint green; I know it's trendy right now but it's a perfect choice for this layout.

    1. thanks so much for the compliment :) i really loved that woodgrain pattern for that reason of it not overwhelming the overall page.
